Wordle representation of my CV

Posted by peter at 16:53 on 10 June 2009

I really, really love Wordle.

It makes gorgeous visualizations of word frequencies (i.e. tag clouds) and it’s super easy to use. Unlike Many Eyes, which causes my friend Jan Berkel to wear ze goggles.

Then someone forwarded me the CW Jobs newsletter this morning with a story about their mildly amusing spoof tag-cloud tshirts. I don’t really get the joke, but it all seems to stem from this advertising-stunt-ish tag generator that CW Jobs created.

Thing is – why not create tag clouds directly from candidate CVs? That’s a way better idea than some dumb-ass Flash piece of shit that’s broken in Firefox. I don’t want to drag sliders around on some pre-defined skills… wtf. Bring on Wordle!

So without further ado, here’s my CV tag cloud:

purdy!
