Chrome Extension: Google and Twitter search results mashup

Posted by peter at 21:55 on 02 April 2010

I’ve written previously about the Greasemonkey script I wrote to mashup Google and Twitter search results in Firefox in the same page.

Well, along with many disenchanted Firefox users, I moved to Google Chrome about 4 months ago. I started out just “having a quick look” and it became my default browser within 2 days. Hey Firefox – remember the bloated, slow and crap browsing experience that was IE 5, 6 and 7? Well that’s you buddy!

Anyway, Empire42, my London-based software development agency, recently had a client inquiry about a simple twitter brand monitoring tool, so I updated the twitter + google mashup and released a Google Chrome extension.

Read all about it on the Empire42 blog. You can also install it directly from the Chrome extension directory.

Hope y’all like it :-)
